A list of specifically named Klingon songs from the various Star Trek Series. Some titles are simply the incipits as many were not specifically titled in the scripts.

  • aler ‘acht’jar – sung by the Klingon Chef while strumming a “Klingon Guitar” in DS9: “Melora”
  • ‘aqla’ bela Du – Jazdia Dax teaches this song to Klingon Chef in DS9: “Playing God” (“Ak’la Bella Doo” in script)
  • ‘aqtu’ mellota’ je – Klingon Opera, excerpt sung by Worf and Amarie in TNG: “Unification II” (“Aktuh and Maylota” in script; “Aktuh and Melota” in TKW)
  • “B’aski’t Kor” – battle song sung by Kor in DS9: “Blood Oath”
  • “BOOOOW-cha-daaay” – a duet from a Klingon Opera (referred to as a “Klingon La Boheme” in the script) that Worf sings (and acts) along with in the Defiant during DS9: “Looking For par’Mach in All the Wrong Places;” a shorter excerpt from the same opera is heard in the episode of DS9: “In The Cards” while Nog is filtering out subharmonic frequencies in Worf’s Klingon Opera collection.
  • ‘ej HumtaH ‘ej DechtaH ‘Iw – Klingon drinking song sung by Worf and Huraga in DS9: “The Way of the Warrior;” The Doctor and Seven of Nine sing the song in VOY: “Barge of the Dead;” and Neelix sings it to Tuvok in VOY: “Prophecy.”
  • gav’ot toH’va – Klingon Opera, sung by Worf (offscreen) while trapped in an escape pod in DS9: “Penumbra”
  • Hehh-duHpp – Worf sings this song designed for children to learn hand-to-eye coordination to Yoshi in DS9: “Time’s Orphan”
  • qa’ vaQ qo’ lI qo’ – “bachelor song” sung by Martok and Worf on DS9: “You Are Cordially Invited” before Worf’s marriage to Jadzia Dax.
  • Kak-lah, Kak-lah – omitted scene from DS9: “The Alternate” (lyrics in script).
  • Klingon “Rock” – The Doctor’s holodeck son, Jeffrey, is playing loud music in his room which he states as “Klingon” when asked what the noise is in VOY: “Real Life.”
  • Klingon wedding music – drums and horns played during the wedding of Worf and Jadzia Dax in DS9: “You Are Cordially Invited.”
  • Kot’baval – an annual festival that celebrates the battle between Molor and Kahless referred to as a “Klingon Street Opera” in the script to TNG: “Firstborn”
  • Mi’ qul qar’a’– dirge for Kor sung by Martok’s crew in the episode of DS9: “Once More Into The Breach.”
  • Nok’tar be’got, hosh’ar te’not? – line from a “Klingon Street Opera” (as described in the script) as sung by a fallen warrior during the festival of Kot’baval in TNG: “Firstborn”
  • quong vaj Ocht – The Doctor recorded (offscreen) 29 lullaby’s for Tom Paris and B’Elanna Torres baby shower in VOY: “Human Error” (“Sleep! Little Warrior”)
  • Qoy qeylIS puqloD – sung by crew of the IKS Rotarran in DS9: “Soldiers of the Empire” and on the Star Trek: Klingon CD-Rom game (“The Warrior’s Anthem” by Hilary Bader; translated by Mark Okrand; music by Keith Halper)
  • qul tuq – an aria (for female voice?) from this Klingon Opera is sung on the STK CD-Rom game.
  • Shevok’tah gish – Klingon Opera, mentioned by Ezri Dax in DS9: “Penumbra”
  • yIjah, Qey’ ‘oH – Klingon Victory song sung in TNG: “Birthright II” (titled “Klingon Aria” according to the wording of the mechanical rights il Troubadore Klingon Music Project used; music and lyrics by Brannon Braga and music by Jay Chattaway)
